He'd nearly flinched when she came close to drape the blanket on him. He didn't think she'd noticed, but it was hard to tell sometimes what she noticed and didn't.

With a bit of effort, he sat up, wrapped the blanket around his shoulders, and tucked his legs under him as Tomoko took the things out of the bag. It was strange to be wearing something so formal while doing this, but it couldn't be helped; they couldn't have stayed at the restaurant. Would it have been better or worse if they'd been able to?
