[thankfully she had dodged that fireball. that had been what hurt him last time, and that lingering pain was now coursing through him. the more he moved the more it stung and burned, even underneath the bandages she had applied to him. he could feel his wounds opening up, the blood seeping through the bandages, but that wasn't on his mind right now.
right now? he just wanted to kill that daemon, more than anything.
it was a good thing that eleanor was working on distracting him, he could tell what her game plan was even though they hadn't spoken. he was used to her own movements, to her fighting style, so of course he could even feel the plan she was trying to execute. distract it so he could kill it, huh? well, that certainly worked for him.
as the beast had its back to rokurou, the samurai suddenly ran up to him again. he jumped, now landing on the beast's shoulders and he thrust his knives down into the head of the creature. it was hard for his daggers to sink into it, but with his full strength he slashed and stabbed at its head before it roared back. rokurou had no choice but to jump off of it.
wait- that was it!]
Eleanor, get to the river right now! [if they could at least put out its flames for the time being, they could most likely kill it pretty easily. rokurou would follow behind her, of course, but she had to lead.]
