[the daemon had been hit with so much, and thanks to the river it had done extra damage on its own flames. rokurou felt the pain from his wounds, they continued to bleed and seep through the bandages that eleanor had wrapped him up in, but that didn't concern him at all.

he just wanted to deliver the finishing blow and get proper revenge on it. he was glad that eleanor was staying out of it, this really was his fight after all.

rokurou took out his daggers and walked towards the head of the daemon. it writhed in the water and he then placed his daggers right by its neck.]

You were challenging, I'll give you that. [and he then crossed his daggers over, slicing off the head of the daemon. once everything was said and done he looked over at eleanor. care to come join him?]

[ there had been a time in the past where eleanor would have balked at the sight of a daemon standing over the body of another daemon, then call upon her malaks to try and vanquish it. that had seemed like so long ago, when it truth it had only been a few weeks at best.

eleanor shook her head slightly at the thought, then without preamble walked right into the river to stand behind him. ]

It's dead, isn't it? [ it looked dead, since only very few enemies survived rokurou's slew of artes. besides, with its head cut off...

still, there was no fault in exercising caution whenever she could. ] It's not going to revive or anything?

[oh it was dead alright, and rokurou was extremely excited about it. in fact, he was so excited that he turned to eleanor, running over to her. he had completely forgotten about any personal boundaries, about not touching her, and he placed his hands on her waist. he picked her up briefly, spinning her around before placing her back down on the ground. it was a quick, happy gesture, and it lasted less than a moment before he took a step away from her.]

That was an excellent idea Eleanor! That vine was placed just perfectly! [rokurou laughed, letting out a 'yahoo!' before he placed his hands on his hips, obviously very excited about the entire situation.]

No no, it's dead, definitely. We got revenge on the daemon... so... thank you, I was able to get back at it thanks to your help.

[ embarrassingly enough, eleanor couldn't suppress her surprised yelp in response to the moment rokurou picked her up and spun her. while she could understand his excitement, she had not expected that move at all, and so when he set her down there was probably a second or two that she spent staring up at him, her mouth slightly agape.

...and was that a blush staining her cheeks just then? probably. eleanor averted her eyes and turned away towards the daemon's corpse near her feet. ] It was your idea to trip him and push him into the waters anyway. I'm just glad I can assist you in any way I can.

[ only when she was certain that she was no longer feeling warmth on her face did she step closer to him again. the look of the bandages across his chest concerned her greatly. ] How are you feeling?

[he had no idea that she was blushing, he was far too busy feeling victorious. rokurou was looking down at the beheaded daemon, simply beaming, before he glanced back at her.]

I'm feeling fantastic. [....though, he did just realize that he had been bleeding due to his open wounds.]

....Whoops. [that was a mistake... and he would rather not fall over from the blood loss.]

Hey I just thought of a new way to repay you. I'll buy you a new jacket. [SO CONSIDERATE.]

[ oh, rokurou. trust the daemon to make light of something this grave. ]

You ought not to think of that yet, Rokurou. [ her exorcist jacket was... irreplaceable, unfortunately, unless she could contact her old friends from her training days and request for one. she might have an extra jacket lying around the ship. ] Besides, Eizen might not allow you to dip into the group's funds for something so... inconsequential.

[ she frowned again. blood was seeping right through the bandages and daemon or not, she'd rather have him conscious when they return to the ship. drawing even closer, she tried to adjust his loosened banages so they would at least cover what they were supposed to cover. ] Come on. Let's find Magilou and the others.

[he allowed her to adjust his bandages, now just looking down at her while she fixed him up. he really was in too much of a good mood here, he still couldn't believe that eleanor had really helped him with taking down that daemon.]

I'll come up with my own gald then, no problem. [just let him buy you a new jacket dammit.]
